Job summary

The Social Worker will collaborate with law enforcement and community partners, monitor admissions, and coordinate discharge planning and end-of-life care in a fast-paced environment seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work required.
• Experience in ED/Trauma and casework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the care of patients and families within a level 1 Trauma ED.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community partners.
• Monitor admission status and medical appropriateness.
• Coordinate discharge planning and end-of-life coordination.
• Multitask in a fast-paced trauma ED environment, 7 days a week.
