The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a clinically licensed social worker fluent in Spanish and English to join the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. The role involves trauma‑informed clinical services for adolescents and adults within a new Trauma Recovery Center, with supervision and opportunities for research collaboration across disciplines.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Social Work (MSW/DSW preferred), Wisconsin licensure, and at least 3,000 hours of supervised clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MSW/DSW preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required; able to provide clinical services in both languages.
• Minimum 3 years of social work experience; 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience post‑certification; ASWB exam licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts clinical intakes using trauma‑informed approaches and develops service plans.
• Provides individual and group psychotherapy, case management, and liaison with health care providers.
• Engages in supervision, training, and program development within a multi‑disciplinary clinic.
• Maintains documentation compliant with Wisconsin requirements and supports program evaluation.
