Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Certificate required.
• ATS Registrar Course required.
• AAAM AIS Injury Scaling Course required.
• 1 year ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients, physicians, and visitors and directs them appropriately.
• Assists trauma data collection for ED, ICU, OR, PACU, and trauma floors; analyzes data for trauma departments.
• Assists with Regulatory Site Surveys.
• Provides clerical support to the Trauma Program Director.
