Job summary

Baptist Health Care in Pensacola, FL seeks a Trauma Registrar to support the Trauma Program Director and the multidisciplinary trauma team. Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology required.
• Basic computer knowledge with basic Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Excel and databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients, physicians and visitors into the department and directs them accordingly.
• Assists trauma unit with data collection for ED, ICU, OR, PACU, and other trauma areas, and analyzes data for related departments.
• Assists with Regulatory Site Surveys.
• Provides clerical support for the Trauma Program Director.
