Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years direct patient care experience in an emergency setting.
• Completion of an emergency, medical or nursing technician training program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients with injuries and illnesses.
• Anticipates patient care needs and supports diagnostic and treatment measures.
• Under supervision, performs duties as an RN/NP/physician apprentice.
• Identify changes in vital signs and report to RN/physician promptly.
• Document vitals, weights, procedures and observations accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with patient transfers.
