Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Trauma Sales Representative in a field-based role. You will engage with surgeons and healthcare professionals, becoming the resident trauma expert and driving sales in high-pressure environments.

The position requires on-call duties including nights, weekends, and holidays, with travel about 30%. You will manage product inventory, train customers, and differentiate Stryker offerings against competitors while adhering to compliance and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two).
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and sales techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office and databases.
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
• Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
• Ability to attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular hours.
• Must adhere to compliance and privacy and ethics; follow laws, licensure, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Sell Stryker Trauma products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Become the resident trauma expert and provide training and advice.
• Manage inventory and assist customers as needed.
• Leverage knowledge of competitors to build credibility with surgeons.
