Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks an experienced trauma care leader with a Master’s in Nursing and at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience.

The role focuses on oversight of direct and indirect trauma patient care, coordination of care systems, and maintaining accreditation standards across the trauma program. Qualified candidates will have emergency surgical or critical care nursing experience, strong data interpretation skills, and ability to develop

Qualifications

• Masters level education is required.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience in emergency surgical or critical care nursing with a focus on traumatically injured patients.
• Ability to interpret data to meet goals of Trauma Division and Nursing Department.
• Certification in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing; Trauma Nursing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct and indirect care of trauma patients.
• Monitor, coordinate and evaluate patient care systems.
• Develop collaborative relationships across the trauma care spectrum.
• Ensure compliance with trauma accreditation standards for the program.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize healthcare delivery for trauma patients.
