Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to co-lead the Trauma Service as APRN/PA Manager. Role is roughly 50% clinical and 50% administrative, including rounding in ICU/ED, central lines, chest tube placement and OR assistance, plus scheduling and recruitment responsibilities.

Requirements include 3+ years clinical APP experience, 1+ year supervisory experience, and ACLS/BLS; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical APP experience.
• At least 1 year supervisory/leadership experience.
• New graduates will not be considered for this position.
• ACLS/BLS mandatory; PALS preferred; ATLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees APP practice across multiple services lines.
• Hires, orients, trains and evaluates APPs; annual reviews.
• Practices as APRN/PA with privileges; ensure licensure compliance.
• Drives quality, policy compliance and process improvement.
• Represents areas to leadership; evaluates new tech/equipment.
• Communicates updates and prepares leadership reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
