Job summary

UTHealth Houston's Department of Surgery, within McGovern Medical School and Memorial Hermann Hospital at Texas Medical Center, seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Trauma service. The APP will be integral to a multidisciplinary, high-acuity inpatient team at a leading Level 1 trauma center, coordinating care across pre-, peri-, and post-operative phases.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Texas Licensure as NP or PA depending on role.
• NLPBLS Certification is required.
• Specialty certification as required by department is expected.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on medical/surgical floors and participation in outpatient trauma clinic.
• Formulate precise treatment plans and manage acute and chronic health conditions; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care with effective communication and teamwork.
