Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in southwest Jacksonville seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join a dynamic trauma and acute care surgery team. The hospital operates as the only Level II trauma center in Clay County, with 24-hour APP coverage and a dedicated trauma team.

Qualified candidates will have or obtain an unrestricted Florida license and DEA registration. The role offers full-time employment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits through PSG, including CME

Qualifications

• Have, or be able to obtain, an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension.
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care surgery coverage as part of a 24/7 APP-led team.
• Work 12-hour shifts as part of a 14-shift/month schedule, including in-house coverage.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and support staff to manage trauma patients.
• Support program participation in trauma-related quality initiatives and CTRIP activities.
