HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in southwest Jacksonville seeks a Trauma Surgeon to join our trauma and acute care surgery team as the only Level II center in Clay County. The role includes 12-hour primary in-house coverage with 12-hour back-up and collaboration with residents and APPs.

Board-certified in General Surgery with fellowship in Surgical Critical Care is required; Florida license or eligibility and active DEA registration are expected.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General Surgery and fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care surgery coverage as part of a team.
• Schedule includes 12-hour primary in-house shifts plus 12-hour back-up.
• Collaborate with residents and APPs on service.
• Participate in TQIP and collaboratives.
