The candidate should have an NP or PA graduate degree, Florida/Georgia licensure, BLS, and willingness to travel up to 25%. ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years outpatient/inpatient setting.
• Masters Nurse Practitioner required or Masters Physician Assistant Program required.
• Certification/Licenses: Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner License required or at time of hire; Physician Assistant License required at time of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred; PALS Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and appropriate referrals to patients in need of further medical care and services.
• Responds to consults, schedules procedures and handles discharge planning, as appropriate.
• Educates and counsels patients/families regarding their health care, including routine health maintenance, as applicable.
• May provide education and instruction to residents and students.
• All other duties as assigned
