Job summary

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs, WV is seeking a part-time Trap Attendant for its Gun Club. You will greet guests, handle orders, and perform cleaning and clerical duties in a lively range environment.

Ideal candidates have knowledge of firearms and can explain safety rules and differences between trap, skeet, and sporting clays. Prior related experience and basic computer skills are a plus, with a valid driver’s license often required.

Job Description

Position: Part-time Trap Attendant

Primary Responsibilities

• guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.
• General knowledge of firearms
• Must be able to communicate with guest about firearms and firearm safety
• Should be able to explain the differences between trap, skeet and sporting clays
• Assist guest with retail sales
• Book shouting times for guest

Secondary Responsibilities

• Gun Club maintenance such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, mowing grass
• Load trap machines
• Clean, tag and store all guns
• Pick up empty hulls

• Knowledge of firearms
• Work as trap attendant, hunting guide, police officer, National Guard, Army, etc.
