Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Safely transports patients to assigned areas, maintaining patient privacy and dignity, according to HIPAA regulations throughout the hospital.

2. Cleans transport equipment daily and ensures equipment is placed in designated areas. Follows schedule for the replacement of empty oxygen tanks.

3. Participates in PI processes.

4. Maintains integrity of hospital environment. Follows hospital Safety and Universal Precaution policies and procedures.

5. Communicates effectively with patients, families, peers, supervisors, and departments served.

6. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor on a daily basis.

What qualifications you will need:

Required - BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross.
