Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana is seeking a dedicated Transporter for a full-time shift (9:30a–10p). You will move patients across the hospital by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, and assist with transport of specimens, equipment, and messages to support daily operations.

The role emphasizes courteous, competent service to patients and staff, with opportunities for professional development in a respected community hospital system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of other support services functions as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
