Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated registered nurse (RN) for a Monday–Friday shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with on-call every other night and every other weekend. The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care while leading by collaborating with ancillary and clinical teams to maintain high nursing standards in a supportive environment.

The role emphasizes patient and family teaching, coordinating care across disciplines, and fostering a positive customer service

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
• ADN or equivalent nursing degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of patient needs; implement interventions per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and supervision; establish and maintain a care delivery plan.
• Provide patient and family teaching and collaborate with other staff to maintain professional nursing standards.

Job Duties

Assessment and identification of patient needs Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service. Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.
