Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a patient transport team member at our Springfield location to move patients between departments and units, ensuring timely and safe transfers. You will work under the direct supervision of the Director or designee and coordinate with nursing staff to maintain continuity of care during transport.

Required education is a high school diploma or equivalent, and no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from departments/units throughout the hospital.
• Interact with nursing personnel to assure continuity of care during transport.
