Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a night shift caregiver for the Emergency Dept South. You will provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction, support information gathering, and report changes in condition promptly.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent; BLS within 90 days; prior EMT/PCA/Nurse Assistant experience or fundamentals of nursing are preferred. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• Preferred: EMT, PCA, Nurse Assistant experience or completion of fundamentals of nursing for nursing students.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Obtains information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff and reports any changes.
• Assist with department tasks in the Emergency Dept South.
