Qualifications

• Must be a current civil engineering student enrolled in an accredited program.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and be a college junior.
• Local candidates preferred; part-time internship suitable for a civil engineering student.
• Traffic engineering experience or coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering studies, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform and check engineering calculations.
• Perform quantity calculations and take-offs.
• Use AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads for project work.
• Prepare traffic studies using Synchro, Vistro, and MS Office.
• Conduct field visits and gain familiarity with traffic software.
• Back check drawings for accuracy.
