Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern to support the Transportation Traffic group in our DeBary, FL office. You will learn traffic engineering concepts, assist with studies, and help with signing, pavement marking, signals, and ITS plans.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, performing basic engineering calculations, and using AutoCAD/OpenRoads, Synchro, and Vistro to support state and municipal projects under guidance from staff.

Qualifications

• Must have attained a minimum status as a college junior.

Responsibilities

• Understanding engineering studies, drawings, and specifications
• Performing and checking engineering calculations
• Performing quantity calculations and take-offs
• Basic operation of AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads
• Preparing Traffic Engineering studies utilizing Synchro, Vistro and Microsoft Office products
• Performing field visits
• Gaining familiarity with traffic engineering software
• Back checking drawings
