Job summary

Stanley Consultants invites a Student Intern to join the Transportation Design team in Phoenix, AZ. The onsite internship offers exposure to drainage design, highway and intersection design, and civil site design on local, national, and international projects.

You will assist with transportation design and drafting using Microstation and AutoCAD, collaborating with task leads to deliver high-quality documents, with occasional field tasks and computation checks.

Qualifications

• Sophomore status in a four-year college or university and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
• Active enrollment in a Civil Engineering program and strong communication skills.
• Local to the Phoenix, AZ area and familiarity with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Transportation design and drafting tasks using Microstation and/or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with leads and design teams to produce high-quality design documents.
• Occasional field tasks and preparation/checking of design computations and quantities.
