Job summary

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) invites motivated students to join its Transportation Department as an Intern supporting transportation technology and innovative initiatives in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

You will assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing information, developing insights, reports, and presentations to support regional technology planning and deployment efforts.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in a degree-seeking program during employment.
No work experience required; at least one year of school-related experience.

Responsibilities

Working with supervisor to maintain and update records for active and planned transportation technology projects across the region.
Assisting with the Call for Projects process and coordinating meetings; prepare agendas, presentations, and materials; track action items.
Assist with setup and coordination of transportation technology projects once identified.
Research and review transportation technology deployments in other parts of the country to identify best practices relevant to the region.
Drafting and preparing documents such as presentations and outreach content for supervisor review.
