Job summary

NCTCOG is seeking an intern to support its business engagement program and contribute to communications and outreach for transportation projects. You will draft content for the department's pages and assist with marketing strategies while maintaining project databases.

Ideal candidates attend a Dallas-Fort Worth region college, can work at least 25 hours per week, and should apply online with a cover letter and resume. Starting salary is $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be attending an accredited college or university in a degree seeking program during employment
• No work experience required

Responsibilities

• Drafting business engagement goals, strategies and tactics for supervisor review
• Drafting website and social media content for the department's business engagement webpage and LinkedIn account for supervisor review
• Assisting with implementing marketing and public relations strategies for educational campaigns
• Assisting with database maintenance for various projects and programs including PublicInput.com
• Assisting with evaluation of communications and outreach strategies through data tracking and analysis
• Participating in business outreach efforts including site visits and stakeholder meetings
