Job summary

Career Collective in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Civil Transportation Team Lead to mentor a team of engineers and steer projects across local, state, and federal highways with real community impact. Reporting to the Transportation Director, you will oversee project delivery from concept to completion, expand the client portfolio, and promote innovation within a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

The role starts in person with a hybrid schedule once acclimated, offering opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
• PE license in Indiana and/or Ohio and Kentucky.
• At least 10 years designing transportation infrastructure.
• At least 5 years of project management and team leadership.
• Experience with INDOT, county, and municipal design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a transportation engineering team.
• Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Develop client relationships and expand project portfolio.
• Work on public sector design for INDOT and local agencies.
• Foster innovation and problem-solving within the team.
