Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering state-of-the-art transportation projects. You will design, plan, and supervise efforts using INDOT guidelines, Microstation, and AutoCAD, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet objectives.

The role requires a Civil/Transportation Engineering bachelor’s and at least 2 years’ experience in transportation engineering, with a strong analytical mindset and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience with INDOT Design Manual, Microstation, and AutoCAD.
• Proven track record of inspecting heavy highway projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise transportation projects within budget and schedule.
• Develop detailed design drawings using Microstation and AutoCAD.
• Conduct site inspections and data collection for planning and design.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to meet project goals.
• Monitor progress and identify issues, proposing practical solutions.
• Prepare project reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes and environmental requirements.
