Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to join our Indianapolis team, delivering state-of-the-art transportation projects with a multidisciplinary group. You will design, plan, and supervise, ensuring alignment with technical specs, budget, and schedule.

The role requires a Civil/Transportation engineering background, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency with INDOT Design Manual, Microstation, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation engineering.
• Experience with INDOT Design Manual, Microstation, and AutoCAD.
• Proven track record of inspecting heavy highway projects.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
• Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and supervise transportation projects, ensuring adherence to technical specs, budget, and timeframes.
• Develop detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications using INDOT Design Manual, Microstation, and AutoCAD.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to gather data for planning and design.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and contractors to meet project objectives.
• Monitor progress, identify issues, and provide engineering solutions to mitigate risks.
• Prepare project reports and present findings to stakeholders and clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulatory changes.
