Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Manager – Transportation Systems Management to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the Transportation Management System (TMS) within our Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence. You will drive cost optimization, shipment visibility, and carrier collaboration across a nationwide US network.

You will lead a technology product team, define strategic roadmaps, and work with IT in an Agile framework to deliver impactful transportation solutions and enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Advanced degree desired.
• 8+ years experience in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain roles preferred.
• Project and Product Management experience; and knowledge of Agile practices.
• Technology-grounded experience that includes ERPs, TMS, WMS platforms preferred.
• People leadership experience preferred.
• Travel Expectations: Up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a technology product team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration, overseeing the full lifecycle of our Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Champion the transportation product strategy, defining both short-term tactical plans and long-range strategic roadmaps to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Design, scope, and deploy innovative solutions that strategically enhance and transform global supply chain management and systems, focusing on cost savings, network standardization, and process improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather detailed requirements, establish KPIs, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure ROI.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues, effectively mitigating risks to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Champion the successful adoption of technology solutions ensuring seamless integration and user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams within an Agile framework, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
