Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager – Transportation Systems Management to lead end-to-end lifecycle of the Transportation Management System (TMS) within our Global Supply Chain. You will drive cost optimization, provide shipment visibility, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver impactful supply chain technology.
The role requires 8+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain, with PM experience and Agile knowledge. Travel up to 25% is expected as part of this leadership position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; advanced degree desirable.
- 8+ years experience in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain roles preferred.
- Project and Product Management experience; knowledge of Agile practices.
- Technology-grounded experience includes ERPs, TMS, WMS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a technology product team overseeing the full lifecycle of the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Champion the transportation product strategy with short-term and long-range roadmaps.
- Design and deploy solutions to enhance global supply chain management, focusing on cost savings and standardization.
- Gather requirements, define KPIs, and conduct cost-benefit analyses for ROI.
- Identify and resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Drive adoption of technology solutions with strong user engagement.
- Collaborate with IT in an Agile framework to align initiatives with business needs.
