PFG Customized is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead field-based operations, partner with customers, and coach delivery drivers. You will investigate service issues, travel to client sites, and develop corrective actions to improve safety, service, and performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in transportation supervision, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Travel within the region and DOT compliance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of transportation supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience resolving operational issues with customers.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and transportation safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to investigate concerns.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a primary contact.
• Conduct root cause analyses of delivery and service issues.
• Provide coaching to delivery drivers and develop corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Analyze transportation performance data and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and Customer Service teams.
• Document findings and follow-up actions per company standards.
• Support continuous safety, quality, and customer-satisfaction initiatives.
