Reyes Holdings in South Carolina seeks a Transportation Supervisor to manage daily dispatches and meet delivery needs while controlling costs. You will lead operations planning, developing staff and coordinating with HR for staffing, ensuring safety standards and service levels.

The role focuses on guiding supervisors and drivers, achieving performance targets, and participating in committees such as safety and quality.

Competenze

• Must have 3–4+ years related experience with 0–1+ years supervisory.
• Alternative: High School Diploma with 5+ years related experience and 1–2+ years supervisory.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with strong leadership background.

Responsibilities

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR DAY SHIFT, NIGHT SHIFT + WEEKEND WORK

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage

• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully

• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers

• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety

• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
