Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. in Enfield, CT is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee nightly operations Wednesday through Saturday 9:00pm–7:00am, ensuring on-time dispatches and safety compliance.

You will develop daily operating plans, supervise staff, and partner with HR to maintain staffing levels while meeting customer delivery needs. This role emphasizes process discipline and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3-4+ years related experience and 0-1+ years supervisory experience.
• Or High School Diploma with 5+ years of specific experience and 1-2+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage.
• Maintain a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
• Develop the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery needs.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead committees such as quality and safety.
• Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster employee involvement.

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage

• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully

• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers' delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers

• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety

• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement

• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree
