Job summary

Stantec is seeking a civil engineering intern for Summer 2027 in CT. You will join the CT structural team and support infrastructure design projects from our New Haven or Hartford offices.

Gain hands-on experience alongside skilled professionals through CAD drafting, analysis, and collaboration with clients and communities. Qualifications

• Minimum exposure to CAD design programs (AutoCAD/MicroStation) and maintaining good academic standing in an accredited engineering program.
• Experience with OpenBridge is preferred.
• Must take initiative when needed and be eager to learn new skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail in engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing contract documents and reports for structural projects, including drawings, calculations, quantity take-offs, and field inspection.
