Stantec’s CT structural team seeks an intern for Summer 2027 to support infrastructure design projects. Join our team in New Haven or Hartford, CT, and work with experienced practitioners to support communities through exciting projects.

You will gain practical skills, build your network, and access opportunities that set you up for success while working full-time during Summer 2027 in an office-based role with some field work.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Civil Engineering program
• Exposure to CAD design programs (AutoCAD/MicroStation) is required
• OpenBridge experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with contract documents and reports for structural projects
• Perform CAD work, check drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, and basic structural calculations
• Assist with field inspection and project coordination
