Job summary

Stantec is seeking talented Transportation Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to contribute to roadway, airport, and structural projects in a purpose-driven environment.

You will support design teams, perform basic calculations, help prepare CAD drawings and reports, and gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle in a collaborative office setting with limited telework. This paid internship offers exposure to real-world transportation challenges and mentorship from senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Support our roadway design, airport design and structural engineering groups
• Support our roadway construction engineering groups in the field
• Conduct basic calculations and assist in developing engineer's estimates
• Assist team in preparing CAD drawings and reports
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
