Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp. (KCA) in Plano, TX is seeking a Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for bridges, retaining walls, and other transportation structures.

You will work under senior engineers and mentor junior staff to ensure quality across all design phases. The role requires a solid understanding of AASHTO codes and TXDOT design standards, strong communication and technical writing, and the ability to manage multiple projects across Texas.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering; master’s degree preferred.
• PE license is required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT design standards and project workflows.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, construction plans, and technical reports.
• Produce plans for transportation projects from preliminary to final design.
• Review shop drawings, perform field inspections, and resolve design issues.
• Work with a team of engineers on projects across Texas.
• Understand AASHTO codes and structural analysis software.
