Qualifications

• Needs a Professional Engineer license in West Virginia (or eligible by comity).
• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
• Minimum four years of progressive engineering experience.
• Travel may be required; possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Signal & ITS Design Unit.
• Prepare in-house design plans for traffic signal renovations across the state.
• Oversee consultant projects including scopes, fee estimates, and selections.
• Review consultant plans for WVDOH specs and standards.
• Coordinate with utilities, cities, and counties during design and construction.
