Job summary

Azenta Inc. seeks an Account Manager, SRS Transportation to drive bookings and revenue for transportation and relocation services across the United States. You’ll partner with customers to showcase mobile biorepository solutions and ensure sample integrity throughout engagements.

You will manage prospecting, presentations, and CRM updates, while collaborating with internal teams to expand Azenta’s presence in pharma, biopharma, and academic accounts. Travel up to 60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in science-related field preferred.
• Minimum of three years of proven sales experience in life sciences or related field.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
• Understanding and application of structured selling methodologies.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of sample management services and transportation capabilities.
• Develop new business opportunities within pharma/biopharma and academic markets.
• Leverage relationships to drive additional bookings and growth.
• Deliver capability presentations to customers highlighting transportation and relocation services.
• Prospect and generate new leads through targeted outreach and marketing-driven opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to create and follow up on sales documents.
• Coordinate with territory-based sales and Project Management to ensure client success.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce CRM data and provide regular forecasts and reports.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales goals through territory strategies.
