Vanner Management Inc. is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our Morris, IL team. This in-person role is essential in supporting compliance efforts, managing vehicle and driver documentation, and ensuring that all operations meet FMCSA and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

·Support the day-to-day operations of the Safety Department

·Handle vehicle registrations, title processing, and maintain accurate records of fleet assets

·Perform IFTA mileage and fuel tax calculations and ensure quarterly filings are accurate

·Respond to citations, violations, and roadside inspection follow-ups

·Ensure timely updates to MCS-150 filings and insurance compliance documents

·Work collaboratively with dispatch, HR, and compliance teams

Requirements

·2+ year of experience in a Safety or Compliance role within the transportation/trucking industry

·Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and state vehicle regulations

·Experience in title processing and vehicle registration

·Ability to perform IFTA reporting and fuel/mileage tax calculations

·Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

·Proficiency with Excel, FMCSA portals, and safety management tools

·Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

·This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Morris, IL office; Monday - Friday
