Safety Coordinator (Remote – West Virginia)
Contract Role | Travel Required

Oxford Solutions is working with a client looking for a Safety Coordinator to support upstream oil and gas operations throughout the state of West Virginia and nearby areas of Pennsylvania. This is a contract-based, remote role that requires 100% travel to job sites. Candidates must currently reside in West Virginia to be considered.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and ensure compliance with safety regulations for upstream oil and gas operations
2. Monitor and manage 3rd party contractor safety protocols
3. Conduct field visits across WV and nearby PA to assess site safety and identify potential hazards
4. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on safety procedures and incidents
5. Communicate safety standards and updates across crews and contractors
6. Adapt to flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety coordination experience in oil and gas or similar industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance specific to upstream oil and gas
• Proven experience working with and managing third-party contractors
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with daily travel
• Must reside in the state of West Virginia
