US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

This role is a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program supporting KPMG's domestic and international operations.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety and incident response best practices aligned with firm risk tolerance and budget considerations.
- Manage risk management frameworks, collaborate with stakeholders (including Legal, HR, Facilities, Business Leaders), and develop training and awareness programs.
- Develop and deliver training, perform subject matter reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, and support proactive planning and incident response to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response, including leading global programs addressing hazards like natural disasters, pandemics, and active threats.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environments such as OSHA, safety management systems, and global situational awareness.
- Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues, influence, and negotiate.
- This is a fully remote position within the US, with 5-10% travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
