Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment & Compliance Monitoring: Evaluate freight shipments and carrier profiles to ensure full compliance with internal policies, customer SOPs, and industry regulations.
• Proactive Risk Shielding: Use real-time monitoring tools and perform routine audits to flag at‑risk freight and protect the organization from non‑compliant carriers.
• HVHR Carrier Vetting: Source, review, and process carriers for specialty certifications and badging, communicating with carriers via phone and email.
• Commodity Trend Analysis: Assess freight commodities with leadership to adjust risk classifications as industry trends shift.
• Escalation Resolution: Manage the load escalation workflow within SLAs, following SOPs and best practices.
• In‑Transit Risk Mitigation: Partner with tracking and operations to resolve risks for loads in transit.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality control reviews of risk procedures.
• SOP Development: Create and refine SOPs for risk workflows to streamline operations.
• Interdepartmental Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Operations on risk policies.
• Workflow Automation & Reporting: Use Jira to update workflows, templates, and implement basic automations.
