Job summary

Arrive Logistics is seeking a Risk Specialist to join our Risk department. You will identify, assess, and mitigate risks, perform routine audits, and refine processes to ensure adherence to risk standards.

The role partners with Operations to resolve in-transit risks and with Sales and Business Development to align on customer-specific requirements. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in brokerage transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in brokerage transportation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Freight & Carrier Auditing: Evaluate freight shipments and carrier profiles to ensure full compliance with internal policies, customer SOPs, and industry regulations.
• Proactive Risk Shielding: Leverage real-time monitoring tools and perform routine audits to flag at-risk freight and protect the organization from non-compliant carriers.
• HVHR Carrier Vetting: Source, review, and process carriers within Arrive’s network for specialty certifications and badging, communicating with carriers via phone and email.
• Commodity Trend Analysis: Continuously assess freight commodities with leadership to adapt risk classifications in response to industry trends.
