Job summary

Flood and Peterson is seeking a driven Transportation Non-Fleet Risk Advisor to build a personal book of business in Colorado’s transportation and logistics community. You will prospect, manage client relationships, and develop new opportunities, serving as a trusted risk advisor to business owners and executives.

You will identify risk, present tailored insurance and risk management strategies, and collaborate with service teams and carrier partners to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Qualifications

• AA or 4–6 years related experience or equivalent
• Colorado Property & Casualty Producer License required
• STAR designation required
• Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR required
• Strong B2B sales and relationship-building experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a pipeline of transportation and logistics clients in Colorado
• Build long-term relationships with transportation and logistics businesses
• Meet or exceed new business and sales velocity targets
• Assess client risk needs and propose tailored insurance solutions
• Collaborate with service teams and carrier partners to serve clients effectively
• Engage with industry associations to expand network and market presence
