Job summary

Flood and Peterson seeks a results-driven Risk Advisor to join our Human Services Practice in Colorado. Build a personal book of business, assess operational risks, and tailor insurance solutions for nonprofits and health care providers.

You will work with service teams, industry partners, and leaders to deliver exceptional client outcomes, develop long-term relationships, and drive growth in the human services sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services, nonprofit organizations, or related fields.
• AA degree or 4–6 years related experience; Colorado license within 2 months.
• Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License required within 2 months; valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Proven sales success building relationships and meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage with owners and executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within human services and nonprofit sectors.
• Build lasting relationships with nonprofit leaders and health care providers.
• Meet or exceed annual new business and sales velocity targets.
• Assess risks and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with service teams and carrier partners to ensure service.
• Engage with human services organizations and industry events.
• Develop proposals and campaigns with marketing teams.
