Job summary

Flood and Peterson is seeking a Manufacturing Risk Advisor to build a book of business across Colorado's manufacturing community. You will identify opportunities, manage client relationships, and deliver tailored insurance and risk management strategies to owners and executives.

As an exempt role, you will collaborate with service teams, industry specialists, and partners to expand market presence, drive growth, and provide exceptional client outcomes in a dynamic manufacturing practice.

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: AA or 4-6 years related experience.
• Sales Experience: success in B2B sales and relationship building.
• Communication: strong verbal and written skills.
• Goal-Oriented: driven to meet targets and grow book of business.
• Industry Knowledge: manufacturing/industrial risk experience.
• Certificates, Licenses & Registrations: Colorado P&C Producer License; valid Colorado driver’s license and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: pursue new opportunities within manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Client Relationship Management: build long-term relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
• Sales Achievement: meet or exceed new business targets and sales velocity.
• Risk Needs Analysis: assess risks and tailor insurance/risk management solutions.
• Internal Collaboration: work with service teams, leadership, and carriers.
• Industry Engagement: participate in manufacturing associations and networks.
• Marketing & Presentations: develop proposals and campaigns for clients.
