Job summary

Flood and Peterson in Colorado is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop our Risk Advisors, driving performance, coaching, and a scalable sales culture.

You will shape recruitment, oversee strategy, monitor KPIs, and expand market presence, while representing the brand at industry events.

This exempt role offers a base salary of $150,000–$160,000 plus an annual incentive and a path to growth through training and a flexible work option.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of B2B or consultative sales; sales leadership preferred; insurance background is a plus.
• Requires current Colorado driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Coaching and leadership excellence: inspire, guide, and develop your team to drive performance.
• Clear and effective communication: articulate expectations and strategies to motivate the team.
• CRM and analytical proficiency: monitor sales activities and data-driven decisions.
• Strategic thinking and emotional intelligence: plan for market trends and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor Risk Advisors to achieve growth and skill-building.
• Drive recruitment and bench-building: hire, onboard, and train future producers and develop a sales academy.
• Standardize and enforce sales methodology with scalable processes aligned to growth.
• Oversee sales strategy and performance management: set goals, review KPIs, monitor pipeline, address underperformance.
• Advance market intelligence and vertical strategy: uncover trends and provide vertical insights for wins.
• Represent Flood & Peterson brand: build client and partner relationships and participate in industry events.
