Job summary

Landstar is seeking a customer-focused recruiter contact specialist to engage potential Business Capacity Owners (BCOs) and guide them through the leasing and onboarding process. You will connect with candidates via calls and emails, explain leasing requirements, and support them from initial interest through application submission.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, timely communication, and achieving recruitment goals, with occasional travel to industry events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of call center, customer service, or an equivalent combination.
• Six months of transportation and logistics experience (preferred).
• Six months of recruiting and/or sales experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Present the Landstar leasing opportunity in a clear and engaging manner to prospective BCOs.
• Make timely follow-up calls to encourage applications and address concerns.
• Meet or exceed monthly goals related to calls, leads, and completed applications.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, emails, and administrative tasks.
• Document recruiting activities and maintain BCO records.
