Job summary

The Driver Provider is seeking an experienced Transportation Recruiter to lead high-volume recruiting across our growing transportation operations in Phoenix, AZ. This role requires persistence, creativity, urgency and consistent follow-through to find qualified CDL and non-CDL drivers, chauffeurs and other transportation personnel.

You will own the full recruiting lifecycle, actively source candidates, build pipelines, and partner with operations leadership to forecast staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting within the transportation industry.
• Experience recruiting CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Proven success in high-volume recruiting environments.
• Strong direct sourcing and candidate outreach experience.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions across different locations simultaneously.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms.
• Excellent and consistent communication, organization and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and consistently meet recruiting expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting process. Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial outreach through interviews, offers and onboarding coordination.
• Actively source qualified candidates. Develop and execute recruiting strategies that go well beyond traditional job postings.
• Recruit transportation professionals. Identify and attract CDL and non-CDL drivers, professional chauffeurs and other transportation personnel across multiple markets.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines. Establish relationships with potential candidates before positions become urgent.
• Drive measurable results. Maintain consistent recruiting activity and deliver against established hiring goals.
• Move quickly without sacrificing quality. Balance high-volume hiring demands with candidate qualifications, safety requirements and company standards.
• Partner with operations leadership. Understand staffing needs, anticipate upcoming demand and adjust recruiting priorities accordingly.
• Maintain accurate recruiting data. Track candidate activity, hiring progress, conversion rates and recruiting challenges.
• Follow through. Communicate consistently with candidates and hiring managers. Don't let qualified applicants disappear because nobody returned a phone call.
