Job summary

American National Logistics, Inc. is seeking a motivated Transportation Recruiter to join our team in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit and qualify Company Drivers and Owner/Operators, post engaging ads, and manage onboarding processes to support operations. Responsibilities include coordinating driver orientation, maintaining open communication with hires, and collaborating with Operations, Safety, Payroll, and Management to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Previous transportation, trucking, logistics, or driver recruiting experience preferred.
• General understanding of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be dependable and professional when working with drivers and applicants.
• 24/7 on-call availability for applicants and drivers is required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and qualify Company Drivers and Owner/Operators.
• Create and post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and other recruiting sources.
• Conduct applicant follow-up and coordinate the hiring/onboarding process.
• Coordinate driver orientation, including travel, hotel, transportation, and meals.
• Maintain communication with applicants and new hires throughout the recruiting process.
• Work closely with Operations, Safety, Payroll, and Management to meet driver staffing needs.
• Support driver retention by assisting current drivers with questions and concerns.
• Help coordinate driver appreciation and recognition programs.
• Prepare recruiting activity and expense reports.
• Maintain driver records and process changes involving pay, classification, insurance, fuel cards, and other driver-related needs.
