Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree required.
• Member of good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or eligibility for membership within one year.
• Four to six years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal services to the Departments of Transportation and Public Works.
• Draft and analyze ordinances, resolutions, and amendments; draft legislative updates on state laws and opinions; monitor pending legislation.
• Prepare legal opinions on questions of law and procedure.
• Review, analyze, revise and approve contracts and other legal instruments.
